I heard news of this last night, and it devastates me. Kenny was one of the kindest, warmest people I've ever known and he will be cherished in the hearts and memories of everyone who's life he touched. All of my love is with his family, who it should be said is also one of the most exceptional families I've ever known. I will always hold dear the memories I have of growing up with Megan, Kenny (my first crush) and this family. There really are no appropriate words for a loss like this. Only the knowledge that he is surrounded by more grace, beauty and love than that which is sustainable in this world. RIP Kenny ♡

Although I never had the opportunity to meet Kenny, I met him through Myspace/Facebook when i was living in Maui. We kept in touch for a long time, sometimes emailing into the night about his recent trip to Utah for wildnerness camp (Im from Utah). He had such a great sense of humor and was always so interested in my travels. We sometimes emailed for so long he would constantly say to me "dont forget to cut and paste" to ensure we wouldnt lose the long emails we would compose. Ive followed him through his journey and although I was so disappointed that I didnt get to meet him on a trip to Park City with his family, I will never forget him and although the world has lost an incredible human being, the sky has gained a shining star. All my love and prayers to his family.
